Mid century retro vintage teak large bookcase 1960.

Practical storage like this bookcase always comes in handy somewhere in the modern home and this is a very nice example, consisting of a large upper part of the bookcase and a long base cabinet.
The design is fairly unfussy and utilitarian, but the striped wood patina on the lower sliding doors stands out.
A very handsome piece, very well made and robust by its british maker, herbert e gibbs, it dates back to the 1960s and can serve for many years to come.

In good used vintage condition.
